Google Analytics 4

GA4 is the most widely used analytics platform in the world, but most implementations are broken, incomplete, or misconfigured. I make sure yours actually works.

What It Does

Google Analytics 4 replaced Universal Analytics with a fundamentally different data model. Instead of sessions and pageviews, GA4 tracks events, every interaction is an event with parameters. This is more powerful but also more complex to set up correctly. I configure GA4 to capture the data that matters for your business, with proper event structure, conversion definitions, and audience building.

Why I Use It

GA4 is the default analytics platform for most businesses and it integrates natively with the entire Google ecosystem, Ads, Search Console, BigQuery, Looker Studio. When set up correctly, it's incredibly powerful. The problem is that most setups aren't correct. That's where I come in.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Google Analytics 4 implementation.

Why is my GA4 data different from what I see in Google Ads?
GA4 and Google Ads use different attribution models and counting methods. GA4 is session based while Google Ads uses click based attribution. I configure both to minimise discrepancies and help you understand the differences.
Should I use GA4's built in ecommerce tracking?
Yes, but not the default auto track setup. I implement custom ecommerce tracking through GTM that captures complete product data, checkout steps, and transaction details, far more reliable than the basic integration.
Is GA4 free?
The standard version is free and handles up to 10 million events per month. GA4 360 (paid) is needed for very high traffic sites or enterprise features. Most businesses do fine with the free version.
Can GA4 track mobile apps too?
Yes. GA4 natively supports cross platform tracking for web and mobile apps through Firebase integration. I can set up unified measurement across all your platforms.
